윈도우 2008 암호 설정을 하다보면, 계속 다른 암호를 넣으라고 할때가 있다.
영어와 숫자를 함께 넣었는데도 이런 경우가 생기는데, 아래와 같은 방법으로 암호를 만들면 보안에도 강한 암호를 설정할수 있다.
암호 지침
강력한 암호란 다른 사람이 추측하거나 자동화된 프로그램을 사용하여 알아내기 어려운 암호를 말합니다. 강력한 암호는 개인 정보를 보호하기 위한 가장 중요한 첫 번째 단계입니다. 다음과 같은 방법으로 강력한 암호를 만들 수 있습니다.
7-16자를 포함합니다.
다음 네 종류의 문자 중 세 개를 사용합니다.
대문자(A, B, C)
소문자(a, b, c)
숫자(1, 2, 3)
기호(` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = { } | [ ] : " ; ' < > ? , . /)
일반적인 단어나 이름, 또는 이와 유사한 단어나 이름을 사용하지 않습니다.
암호에는 다음을 포함할 수 없습니다.
After Effects can't Continue: Sorry, After Effects has crashed...

I have intalled and uninstalled twice now. Ive tried alot of things. I have Adobe After Effects CS3 Professional 8.0 (Trial). I keep getting the same message when i try to run;
So ive come here for help. Ive downloaded the patch but its only for the non trial version. But i cant even get into the program. So any help?

Now i have the full version. I uninstalled it. I bought after effects then installed it again using my serial. still gives me the same results...

First I'd try to update video drivers and quicktime. If that doesn't fix it, try removing the opengl plugin from the plugins folder (move to desktop). If that doesn't work, try uninstalling 3rd party codecs.

Ok ive already updated my video drivers and im updating quicktime as we speak and do you know where i could find the 3rd part codecs? (Well ill get back to that later)
EDIT: ok now were back to it. I did all you told me and still get the same results...Well i havnt got rid of any codecs. So do you happen to know where they are?

Hmm.. I dunno if removing those will fix your problem, but I guess it's worth a try... Your codecs that you installed would be listed in control panel/uninstall programs.

Hi, I'm sure at this moment Colton has fixed this AE problem already,"After Effects can't continue, sorry. After Effects has crashed. bla bla bla (0::42)" but in case that someone else has the same problem in the future, I had this error also and none of my 2 versions of after effects wanted to run or re-install, neither my Premiere, and as usually the adobe support team are so busy drinking coffee and having fun at the office so don't expect help from them
So, I realized that one of the video codecs crashed for some reason, and windows registry aways call this codec when After effects starts, you can identify what is the problematic codec when you start AFX and the problem POP's UP then you follow the support tabs until it tells you (right hand) what is the name of the problematic driver or codec in my case it was "ffdshow.ax" so I just edit the registry and ad a semicolon befor it ;ffdshow.ax,
for the persons who doesn't know how just
1. GO to Start Button and choose "RUN"
2. On the empty line type: regedit (then enter)
3. Navigate to the following registry folder on the left hand: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32.
4. Double-click the codec you need to disabled (right hand) and add a semicolon before the name, example ;ffdshow.ax (then OK) and exit the registry
Note: Video codec listings usually start with vidc; audio codec listings usually end with an .acm extension. File names don't always match the trademarked name for the codec (for example, Cinepak appears as vidc.cvid).
At least AFX it's running again and working, now I need to see how important that codec is and replace it or install it again, once you did it you can do this process again and remove the semicolon from that codec name
